Contract Administrator
Job Description:
HLA Engineering and Land Surveying, Inc. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering construction contracts for various engineering projects. This is a full-time hourly position with the potential for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Review and understanding of contract specifications and funding requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure contract requirements are met, and all parties comply with terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, funding agencies, and project owners.
- Keep up to date with industry standards, laws, and regulations related to construction contracts.
- Assist in resolving contract disputes and claims.
- Coordination of the construction submittal process.
- Review of contractor certified payrolls.
- Coordination of progress estimates and funding reimbursements.
- Creation of letters and transmittals, file management, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications:

- Experience in construction administration or related field.
- Working knowledge of terminology in the Engineering and Construction industries.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Professionalism and desire to work with engineering staff at all levels.
- Must be available to work additional hours during peak project phases.
Compensation for this position ranges from $21 - $35 per hour depending on experience. HLA offers a competitive benefits package including an annual bonus, Paid Time Off, 7 Paid Holidays, Company paid Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, and a 401(k)-profit sharing plan with employer contributions.
