HLA, working with BORArchitecture, provided preliminary engineering, design engineering, and construction administration services for the Yakima Valley College - New Entry Grandview Campus project. The new main entrance and parking facilities involved abandoning an existing public street, street right-of-way, demo of existing buildings, and creating 148 new paved parking spaces. Site improvements included new asphalt paving and storm drainage improvements to serve the new parking area. The existing storm facilities were modified to work with the updated parking facilities. Construction was completed in 2017 and the campus may now be easily accessed from Wine Country Road, rather from side streets.
