This project extends Vintage Valley Parkway two miles through undeveloped, commercially zoned property. Work consisted of improving the existing road section and construction of a new landscaped boulevard roadway section leading into the property, including paved multi-use pathway. Other amenities include decorative illumination, trash receptacles, pavement markings, and street signage. Buena-Toppenish Road (Highway 22) was widened within Yakima County’s jurisdiction. The City’s water and sewer systems were extended to serve future development.
HLA provided STP/TIB/SIED funding application assistance and presentations to funding organizations. Other services included a topographic survey with drone overlay; NEPA environmental compliance and permitting; complete design phase services, specifications, and contract documents; construction observation and management, and funding administration.
