Rainier, Third Avenue, and WIPPCO Wells
Due to pump failures, three of the City’s active source wells are currently being rehabilitated, demolishing original structures and constructing new well control buildings with improved equipment. Upgrades include new pump and motors, piping, valves and fittings, well inspection and cleaning, electrical service and distribution, lighting, VFDs, control panels, instrumentation, HVAC, well pumps and motors, and site improvements.
HLA provided topographical land surveying, design engineering, plans, specifications, services during construction, and funding agency administration assistance. HLA’s electrical engineer Conley Engineering provided electrical and control system engineering. Construction is scheduled to be completed in November 2018.
